- Generate new sales, retain existing members, and grow the Agency's overall book of business through our multiple product offerings.
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests related to insurance, membership and financial products.
- Collaborate with other office staff in cross-selling insurance products on behalf of The Sanderson Agency.
- While this position is primarily Property & Casualty Insurance sales, the position also requires the ability to sell other products such as: Farm Bureau Membership, Life Insurance, and Financial products.
- Hold the insurance license required by the state of Michigan.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base.
- Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close new clients.
- Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and have Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
